The purpose of this standard operating procedure (SOP) is to describe the methodology for conducting in-situ soil stabilization remediation treatment of onsite impacted saturated soil.

ISS is a remedial procedure which treated impacted saturated soil by hydraulic mixing and concurrent reagent injection applications. This agency approved remedy will be employed to stabilize speciated and total arsenic in saturated soil using a proprietary binding agent. The goal of the ISS work is stabilized speciated and total arsenic in saturate soil, and prevent further dissolution into onsite groundwater.
